I Contain Multitudes

Light is both a particle and a wave. Two things that have the potential of becoming one or the other in the same moment depending upon circumstances. Or is it more about becoming as in, “You are a very becoming person?” Not having to do so much (or little) with your physical appearance, but more similar to, “My goodness!  You are changing before my eyes,” evolving as you sit opposite me in a café drinking coffee. “What happened to you?” You are morphing. Easy to visualize, but how does one experience a quantum moment? Being two things in an identical timeframe? Can you frame that in the lab and call it a Rembrandt? Have the potential to do an instant switcheroo? The point at which Yin and Yang meet and influence each other, those two little black and white dots that exist within the same egg of creation? The place where opposites attract and can’t live without each other, ups and the downs, the experience twins have in living countries apart and saying the same thing to their partners on the same morning while eating the same banana muffin for breakfast? “Morning, hon. Any raspberry-rhubarb jam in the fridge?” How about buying the same T-shirt and both selecting to wear it on their birthdays? Quantum mechanics might play a role in photosynthesis, and pigs might fly. I don’t want to be dense, but for me, it’s still remains circumstantial evidence.
